Black Bloggers United is an organization that supports black content creators, through webinars, workshops and connects bloggers with companies and brands to assist them in their growth and success. BBU currently has over 800 members in 70 countries and branches in 13 Cities in North America. BBU was created with the intention to highlight black content creators and has served as a resource for information as well as a way to connect black bloggers to one another. Chicago is home to a unmatched level of creativity and content creators are telling the stories. From every niche and market: food, fashion, music, lifestyle, wellness, fitness, business, and inspiration, Chicago content creators are promoting brands, ideas, selling and endorsing products, hosting events and sharing their experiences with their respective audience.
I’m pleased to announce that I will be joining the Black Bloggers United Team, as the Co-Regional Director. Chrishelle Monet and I are excited to head the Chicago branch of BBU. Together we look forward to connecting and engaging with fellow bloggers, podcasters and vloggers for the Chicago and Chicagoland Area. Our 1st official event is January 28th at the Soho House. We encourage all content creators to come out and get to know us and see what BBU is all about. Our goal is to bring black content creators together, work with companies and bridge the gap between the brands & the bloggers they want to work with. It’s a community that intends to build, encourage, collaborate and grow our respective brands…together.
I am thrilled to join in this new role and look forward to working with my fellow Chicagoland Content Creators going forward!
Until next time,
Take care of yourselves and one another!
