The New Year is the perfect time to start over with a new sense of purpose and commitment.  We all have goals and things we would like to achieve every year.  Why not give a gift that helps someone you love start the New Year off on the right track! Here are a few of my favorite things to help jump start your goals!

A Multi-purpose Planner/Organizer

I’m a woman with a never ending to do list. I keep a planner to keep my schedule on track but this past year, I fell in love with the Law of Attraction Planner.  I’m a huge fan of the Law of Attraction books and its principles so when I discovered this planner, it was the perfect thing for me.  As a woman on the go, I don’t have a lot of time for personal reflections but this planner allows me to keep my schedule organized, goal plan and builds positive habits for the week/month/year and reflects on my personal values.  This planner guides you with crafting a vision, setting big goals, and creating a step-by-step plan to guarantee you will reach your goals.  It makes sure you stay motivated every day and shows you how to create a strategy to keep you focused and driven. You can even create your own vision board in this planner!

Motivation Books

I’m a huge fan of Steve Pressfield books. As a creative, I’m constantly trying to stay motivated and full of ideas to create quality content and write with intention and purpose.   The Books “The War of Art”, “Turning Pro” and “Do the Work” are great additions to your book collection even if you are not a creative.  His no nonsense style of writing inspires you to seize your own potential no matter what you do.

Gratitude Journal:

This past November, I really focused on cultivating an attitude of gratitude. I started keeping a gratitude journal and felt a shift in my spirit especially when I am going through tough times.  In 2018, I intend to take time each day to practice gratitude.  Encourage someone in your life to do the same with a beautiful journal that includes prompts to help you think about things that you are grateful for.

Invest in Your Future

We all should be doing our part to save and invest in the future, especially in light of today’s economy. A few years ago, my son received a gift card from Stockpile.  Stockpile is a great way to invest in the stock market without needing a large sum of money.  You buy fractional shares and invest any amount you want.  You can start with as little as $5! It works like any trading account and you can buy and sell whenever you want for $0.99 a trade. They sell gift cards with your favorite stock or you can purchase a gift card so the recipient can purchase the stock they want. It’s a great gift that grows over time.  It makes a great gift for adults or children to teach them about investing!

Financial Freedom and Stability

It’s one of my main goals for 2018!  I’m a huge fan of Dave Ramsey and his books. They offer a very easy to understand guide to managing your finances no matter what your financial situation is.  They also come with workbooks to help you track expenses, budget properly and make a savings plan. Who doesn’t want to have more money in their pockets in the New Year?   Give the gift of financial literacy to a friend or loved one!

Get Healthier

If you are like me, you vow to get healthier in the New Year.   I’m learning to start small and with manageable goals.   Give your friend or loved one a head start on improving their lifestyle with a few gifts that will help them achieve their goals. I’m a huge fan of detox waters and their benefits. Amazon has some awesome water bottles perfect for those who love detox waters.  My favorite holds my favorite combination of fruits and allows the fruit to infuse and is easy to travel with.

They say the best way to get healthier is to plan your meals but as a busy woman, it can be hard to sit down and meal prep.  Give a meal prep planner to help organize and plan weekly meals.  Studies show those who plan their meals are more successful in losing weight and becoming healthier.

So you have a water bottle to stay hydrated and a meal planner to figure out what you are going to eat but what are you going to cook?  Give a cook book for busy women that allows them to eat clean without a lot of fuss.  The Healthy Meal Prep Cookbook: Easy and Wholesome Meals to Cook, Prep, Grab, and Go was created by a busy mom and nutritionist and has practical and simple solutions to eating clean for your entire family with easy to follow instructions.

These are just a few gift ideas to give to your loved ones to help them start the New Year off with a new focus and intention!

What are some gift ideas that would be helpful to a busy woman as we enter 2018!

As always,

Take care of yourself and one another!
